Quick benchmark on Linux using UnixBench
Updated on 06/18/2017 with new download links
1. Download the source code:
wget https://github.com/kdlucas/byte-unixbench/archive/v5.1.3.tar.gz
2. Install dependencies for CentOS 6.x:
yum install -y gcc time perl-Time-HiRes
3. Untar and change directory:
tar zxvf UnixBench5.1.3.tgz
cd byte-unixbench-5.1.3/UnixBench/
4. Compile:
make
5. Run it and prefix it with time, so you have some idea how long it took:
time ./Run
6. Here's my result:
time ./Run
make all
